Dr. Doris Henderson
Dr. Doris Henderson is the Co-Pastor of Kingdom Family Worship Center, Fredericksburg, VA. She has established Women of Distinction Ministry which is designed to instruct, educate and inspire women to soar. Dr. Henderson is also Co-Founder of the Bragg Hill Family Life Center, where she develops holistic programs that strengthen family, assist at-risk youth and builds community.
She is the visionary of summer programs for youth, and a four week day Camp promoting STARS, teaching youth to have Self-esteem, Teamwork, Attitude, and Respect).
She is a mentor to unwed mothers; taking negatives and making them positives. She previously served on the board for Habitat for Humanity which selects families who would like to go from rental property to home ownership, and the Fredericksburg Mental Health Association. She conducts seminars and workshops which promote family, collaboration, etc.
Dr. Henderson is married to Bishop Joseph. D. Henderson, Sr. and the mother of four children; Danielle, Ashley, Joseph, Jr., Benjamin. She has two grandsons David, Daniel and one grandaughter Lillian. Named an Ambassador of Peace in September, 2006 she believes in the power of prayer, faith, and healing.
